Bilingualism Research Today is the official blog of the Bilingualism Research Lab at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The Lab opened in the summer of 2008 following UIC’s first Afternoon of Code-Switching. The Lab is currently working on such language pairs as:

  • Taiwanese/Spanish
  • Spanish/English
  • ASL/English mode-switching

In the spring of 2009, the Lab along with the ESLAP Research Group, the Heritage Research Cooperative, and the Sociolinguistics Lab hosted UIC’s first Bilingualism Forum from April 30 to May 1.
